My biggest (and nerdiest) personal project yet.

I have seen tons of variations of Star Wars NFL logos but none really scratch that itch for me. Typically, these designs just put a recognizable Star Wars character into an NFL team’s colors, but they stray too far from the original team’s logo style. Additionally none of those logos would really fit as a team within Star Wars universe. So, before creating my 32 custom mash-up logos i decided to give myself some ground rules:

1. Keep the design language and overall vibe of the original NFL logo.

2. Stick to the original team’s color scheme.

3. Maintain the original logo’s general “footprint” (general shape or silhouette).

4. Only use Aurebesh (the Star Wars alphabet), or other in world glyphs; no English lettering.

5. Mascots must be actual creatures or things from Star Wars no made-up elements.

6. Don’t use specific characters as mascots (just like there isn't a team called the Abraham Lincolns, there shouldn’t be a team called the Yodas).

7. Choose a specific Star Wars era and only use elements relevant to that time period. (I chose the clone wars era)
